Jason is a third generation avocado farmer and Lindsey’s other half. He grew up on the farm with his family and still farms with them today, three generations side by side. Jason oversees operations for the avocado, lemon, and small cow and calf productions.
The Family Farm

Established in Santa Paula, California in 1969, the 4000 acre farm has raised three generations of passionate growers and stewards of the land, who are committed to sustainably producing the best avocados in the world. The farm has been rebuilding since losing a devastating third of its acreage in the 2017 Thomas Fire.
Meet the Founder
Lindsey is a former teacher turned stay-at-home mom, with a background in agricultural practices (BS in Ag Science and Minor in Ag Business to be exact). It’s all coming full circle!
The Good Fat was born from the need to provide fresh, delicious fruit that was otherwise difficult to access while sharing a love of California avocados with people all over the country.
